Easter Sunday Picnic
Many of the photos above were taken on a previous visit to this area. They show the huge diversity of the flora in the hills away from the coast.
We had a lovely lie-in. Later in the morning we took a picnic lunch to the sea front. We sat on some stones at the north end of the town. After an hour or so of hot sun with a cool breeze, it clouded over and became cool so we walked home via the Rio Guadalest. It threatened to rain but only managed a few large spots. We found out how to turn on the lounge heater. We don't mind because in England, it is freezing with rain, hail and snow.
