Walk Across Europe

A 12 000 kilometre walk from Cape Saint Vincent (Portugal) to Istanbul (Turkey) with photos of the flora and fauna, Maps, GPS tracks and KML track files for use with Google Earth. The green walkers show what we have completed. The brown trace is planned for the future.

October 2009: After 130 walking days and over 2567 km covered, we have reached France but the walk is on pause because Anne has cancer and is too ill to walk more than a few metres. The statistics suggested she would be unlikely to recover but we lived in hope for 14 months. Sadly Anne has now died. Neil plans to resume the walk in late October 2010.
